Beavers & Cubs Meeting – November 5th
November 5 @ 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
The Beavers and Cubs will be hiking from Lakeview United Church to the Saskatchewan War Memorial, located west of the Legislative Building. Parents and guardians are warmly encouraged to join us as we come together to honour and remember those who served and sacrificed for our freedom.
Each year, our youth benefit from hearing Scouter Caleb speak about the act of remembrance, why it is important, and the sacrifices that have been made for our country. This is always a meaningful opportunity for our youth to participate in an act of remembrance, reflect on the sacrifices of others, and deepen their understanding of the message behind Lest We Forget.
We also ask that parents and guardians take a moment to remind their Cubs ahead of time that this is a solemn occasion and that respect should be shown at the monument at all times.
